Preserving in all its forms is a common kitchen technique allowing us to enjoy today's food tomorrow. In these days of fast food & instant gratification it is often an overlooked craft but in fact is well worth the effort.


During your day with one of our Michelin-starred chefs, you will discover and try out a whole plethora of preservation methods including salting, pickling & smoking. The emphasis is on ease to achieve professional results in your home kitchen.


The nature of this course means you will leave us with a variety of your preserved produce to enjoy with friends and family at home.  As tasting is an important and enjoyable part of this course you will have the opportunity to try the matured preserved products of our Michelin-starred chefs.  This is not merely dipping a spoon in to a jar but dishes centred around the days course title and will be served with lashings of laughter and wine in our beautiful country style dining room.
