Today it’s very difficult fitting everything into the 24 hours we’ve got & most often it’s the food we eat that takes the hit. ‘Time’ is the new luxury so what if you could produce outstanding dishes in less than 30 minutes from fridge to plate, now you’re talking! Although known for his unique nutritional approach to cuisine Chris Horridge has worked with some of the UK’s biggest named Michelin Starred chefs & indeed held his own star before joining us so is ideally placed to reveal the insider secrets to a speedy but delicious meal.

 

Anyone can rustle up a hotch potch dinner in 30 minutes but would the result be worthy of serving in your local gastro haven? Possibly not, so this course is about flavour with speed.

 

Chris will guide you through a fun packed day of learning new skills using some traditional and some more avant guarde techniques to help beat the clock. You’ll start your day with a discussion on the basic shopping list for your cupboard with key items that can lead to many seemingly different creations in super quick time.

 

He will demonstrate a range of dishes using the freshest seasonal ingredients including fish, shellfish, meats, vegetables and herbs before you get stuck in proving to yourself that cooking at his level in limited time really is not only possible but the results something you would be more than willing to choose on a restaurant menu!

 

The perfect soufflé race finishes your day and will be a real eye opener for those who thought they are time consuming, difficult to perfect and out the reach of the domestic kitchen. Once you have beaten the clock you will be invited to dine on your creations in our beautiful country style dining room where service and wine will both be on hand.
